Proudly Serving the Villages of East Dundee, South Barrington, and Barrington Hills
The East Dundee Fire District is proud to offer CPR and lifesaving training for community members, businesses, and healthcare professionals. Our classes provide the knowledge and hands-on practice needed to respond confidently in an emergency. Whether you need CPR training for work, certification requirements, or personal preparedness, we offer courses for a variety of needs and experience levels.

This course is designed for the general public, teachers, coaches, childcare providers, and workplace employees who need basic CPR training. Students will learn adult, child, and infant CPR, how to use an AED, and how to respond to choking emergencies.
This course is intended for healthcare professionals and others who are required to have Basic Life Support certification. Students will learn high-quality CPR for adults, children, and infants, AED use, bag-mask techniques, and team-based resuscitation skills in healthcare settings.
This course provides broader emergency response training for individuals, businesses, and organizations. In addition to CPR and AED instruction, students will learn basic first aid skills for common medical emergencies, injuries, and sudden illnesses until professional help arrives.
Class size is limited to 15 students per class to ensure quality instruction and hands-on participation. For larger groups, the East Dundee Fire District can accommodate your needs by scheduling multiple class dates.
